| | (I've been meaning to post this on here, but I keep forgetting. Sorry.)
While we were driving towards Atlanta, GA for a photo shoot, we got stuck in a traffic jam.
We sat and sat piddling our thumbs waiting for whatever was ahead to clear up. It was snowing and the roads were fairly slick, so the odds were that there was an accident ahead of us.
Christina had called one of our friends in GA to see if anything was on the internet about the accident. Our friend reported back and said that there was a twelve car pile up.
Talks generated about walking down to the accident to take pictures. Christina and I finally said, "OK!" Christina grabbed her camera, and I grabbed mine and we walked towards the accident in the ice, slush, and snow.
About three-quarters of a mile later, we finally made it to a terrible scene of twisted metal. Christina and I then did what we did best and started taking pictures.
We were very surprised when we heard from some of the emergency crews that there were only very minor injuries consisting of people just shook up. I was very surprised to hear that, especially because the amount of pancaked vehicles.
These pictures are from the twelve car accident on I-85 enroute to Atlanta on the 19th of January. This is what happens when Atlanta gets snow. Watch out if you ever visit Atlanta when it's snowing. |
