| I've been up to a lot -- no joke. I think this is the busiest summer I've ever had in my short 20 years of life. I suppose I should say what I've been up to since I bought my new camera. I taught two IPS courses in the spring, and actually, I'm planning on teaching two more as well as taking one in the fall. Pixel This -- a photoshop workshop -- is the class I'm planning on taking. I'm definitely pretty excited about that. Just a few weeks ago, I left for India to document my church's youth group. It was a really exciting and fun trip. When I got home, I went to Oklahoma City and shot a wedding with Hannah Brandau. It was a very exciting wedding, and I had a lot of fun. Ok ... sooo ... here's some of the pictures from India.

| So, for all of the people who have not befriended me on facebook yet, here's one for you. :)
The biggest update of all ... yeah, I bought a new camera. It's absolutely amazing and confusing at times. Although, I am figuring it out slowly. I was able to do a couple of photo shoots with it, and I think my fingers are finally forming new habits to switch settings and stuff -- which is good. :) So, here are a couple of albums of the fun I have had with the camera. :)

Anyway, that's that. There is the latest update. :)
| (I've been meaning to post this on here, but I keep forgetting. Sorry.)
While we were driving towards Atlanta, GA for a photo shoot, we got stuck in a traffic jam.
We sat and sat piddling our thumbs waiting for whatever was ahead to clear up. It was snowing and the roads were fairly slick, so the odds were that there was an accident ahead of us.
Christina had called one of our friends in GA to see if anything was on the internet about the accident. Our friend reported back and said that there was a twelve car pile up.
Talks generated about walking down to the accident to take pictures. Christina and I finally said, "OK!" Christina grabbed her camera, and I grabbed mine and we walked towards the accident in the ice, slush, and snow.
About three-quarters of a mile later, we finally made it to a terrible scene of twisted metal. Christina and I then did what we did best and started taking pictures.
We were very surprised when we heard from some of the emergency crews that there were only very minor injuries consisting of people just shook up. I was very surprised to hear that, especially because the amount of pancaked vehicles.
These pictures are from the twelve car accident on I-85 enroute to Atlanta on the 19th of January. This is what happens when Atlanta gets snow. Watch out if you ever visit Atlanta when it's snowing.
| It all started out with Megan and Sarah wanting a new profile picture for their facebooks. I agreed to take pictures of them if they paid for fuel to go downtown. This morning at 9:45, Megan got a call from my oldest sister, Lacey, asking her if she wanted to work as a receptionist. Megan at first didn't want to accept the offer, because she wanted a new picture; however, her need for money soon trumpted the photo shoot. I decided that I was in the mood to take pictures, so I told Sarah and Gracie that we still needed to get some pictures. So, we took off in my newly bought car and wound up in my favorite place to shoot -- downtown Tulsa. As we parked, we all decided to go look for new spots to take pictures at. So, as I was going down through my normal route, we stopped at various other places along the way. We found a new coffee shop that JUST opened today ... RIGHT by my favorite alley -- incredible! :) We decided to stop by my sister's office to meet up with everyone else. When we met up with everyone else, we decided to go to the 31st bridge and take a few group shots with the skyline and everything. After that, we went to eat at hideaway pizza ... yum! :) So, all in all, I had an extremely awesome afternoon! I hope ya like the pictures. And, as always, click the picture for more. :)

| I'm still alive! It has been an interesting week. Ice Storms, hot chocolate, fires, and darkness. A pretty large ice storm hit Oklahoma rather severely, knocking out electricity in some homes for quite some time. I have friends who still do not have electricity, and it has been close to a week now. With tempatures in the lower 30s, houses are rather chilly. This morning, before the electricity in my house came on, it was 40 degrees. I was enjoying my fairly warm bed. I did think it needed another blanket, though. So, I have had about fifteen cups of hot chocolate in the last four days and sat by a fireplace longer than I had ever planned. So, being the wonderful photographer that I am, I took pictures. I only took pictures on Monday, because I had to work on Tuesday, and the ice melted on Wednesday. So, with that said, here are the pictures of the ice storm that froze Tulsa for a week. (Click the picture for the rest.)
